Dante often referred to as The Chairman was the son of Lucifer and the father of Cain. He was the Chairman of the Vampire Council and maker of Carlos Rivera.

Described as a pale entity with a clean shaven head lacking eyebrows or eyelashes. His grayish-blue skin was so thin, you could see the blue-green veins beneath it which ran with discolored blood. He had long, withered, bony, crooked, willowy fingers, a serpent tongue and a low, evil laugh.

He wore a peaked black hat that resembles a Pope's crimson pontiff cap and black regalia threaded with gold. Each council member wears a ring with a crest and a gemstone that matches the stole sash that runs down the front of their robes.

Dante is first introduced as the Chairman of the Vampire Council towards the end of Minion. He offers Carlos Rivera a deal to work with the council against the rogue vampire Fallon Nuit and his Minion.
