- The early cover art showed Damali's ring on her "ring finger". The first edition had it on her index finger, as did the official website banner image. The ring switched back to her "ring finger" for the Mass Market Paperback release.
- The first title in the Crimson Moon seriesBad Blood features a preview of The Shadows.
