- L.A. Banks took inspiration for Bobby a boy who seen a 13 year old girl get kidnapped by an ice cream truck driver. He rode his bike as fast as he count until he ran into the girl's mothers car.[1]
- Marlene Stone was inspired by the mother in the story who prevented the success of the kidnapping.
