Jacob Rider Jake (goes by Jack Rider, usually just Rider) is an Olfactory Guardian on the Neteru Guardian Team. He is the husband of Tara Rider and father of Tamara Rider. Rider is one of the original members of Damali's Team.

Early Life[edit | edit source]
Rider spent his early 20's driving across the continental US with his hair in a ponytail, drinking and having sex with various women he met along the way. He didn't shower often, smoked a lot of weed and got into more bar fights than he could remember, even getting locked up a couple times.

- Rider's actual name is Jake/Jacob Rider. The official website listed his name as both Jacob and Jake.
- In Make it Last Forever, Tara is able to determine this without being told when Rider tells her his name, choosing to refer to him as Jake.
- Rider is referred to in Minion as Jake on two separate occasions.
- In Minion, Rider is said to hate being a tracker, alongside Jose.
