Shabazz is a Tactical Guardian on the Neteru Guardian Team. He is the lifemate of Marlene Stone and adoptive father to Damali Richards-Rivera.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Early Life[edit | edit source]

While in an alley with his friend, Shabazz sensed something (a vampire) and fired a shot at it. The vampire dematerialized and the bullet killed his friend. He was sent to jail for ten years for the unintentional murder.

While in jail he kept sensing things. Another prisoner, Haneef Shabazz, watched Shabazz's back in prison. The man was a seer, and he gave Shabazz an address to a place in New Orleans, saying that there was a woman there who was a seer and would know his path. With nothing to lose, once he was free he went to the address, but the woman had moved. Eventually he came to an alley where he saw a woman wielding a walking stick and fighting against three men. After realizing that the men were vampires, Shabazz went to help her. Together, back-to-back they took down the vampires. After that, they became a unit.

Physical appearance[edit | edit source]

Shabazz has dark, Nubian locks and broad shoulders. He's described as having strong facial features set in 'smooth ebony' giving him the appearance of African royalty.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Marlene describes Shabazz as being able to forgive anything.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Shabazz has the ability to sense his environment through touch. When touching or brushing up against somebody, he can tell their time was limited or know when they're going to die.

Shabazz carries a glock named 'Black Beauty and is an Akido master.
