Ayana's Age, Official Timeline notes[edit source]
Ayana is at least an infant in Minion which takes place in the summer of 2003, since Damali isn't 21 yet. Her birthday (official website) is listed as August 15, 1982. In Shadow Walker, she's said to have been 4 years old during the apocalypse. Which would place the apocalypse somewhere around fall 2007. Between the books volume 7 takes place in November 2007, so the apocalypse takes place some time in 2008, before August. Between the books volume 30 takes place in Fall 2009, 1 year after the apocalypse.
This should put the comics somewhere around September to the end of the year in 2008 as it's stated that they take place during the 'first trimester of the female team members pregnancy'.
